ECUADORIAN STATE IN COLLUSION WITH CHEVRON OBSTRUCTS ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE OIL COMPANY

PRESS RELEASE: After 30 years of litigation, obtaining 4 rulings in favour of the inhabitants of the Amazon, 16 judges found Chevron guilty of the damage caused in the Northern Amazon of Ecuador, today with an arbitration award, based on a Bilateral Investment Protection Agreement, it is intended to leave the more than 30,000 people affected by the toxins left by Chevron in the Northern Amazon of Ecuador defenceless.
